Step 2: Rip the paper off but don't break the present

Step 3: Read the card and thank the person who gave it to you!

BONUS STEP 4: Repeat this step until all your presents are all opened! 

Phobias and fears

Hi, guys, it's me and today I'm going to talk about Phobias and fears!

What is a fear?
an unpleasant emotion caused by the threat of danger, pain, or harm.

What is a phobia?
an extreme or irrational fear of or aversion to something.


Do I have a fear or phobia?
I hate the dark, I'm not scared of the dark in general but I always think someones there so I'm scared of what's in the dark.

Dear Diary,
Christmas this year was the best one yet! but it didn't start off so great. I was having a terrible dream about bids chasing me, I woke up the next morning and I smelt something, coming from the oven, I climbed on the bench and slipped a little which opened the oven and a big puff of black covered my vision. I walked across the bench and all of a sudden I heard a voice, making me jump onto the table, but I started slipping, the more I tried to get a good grip but it was no use, I jumped onto the fan and I heard a loud crash! I suddenly started spinning faster and faster until I went flying onto the clock and that started to tip. I jumped off and it came down with a crash. I jumped away from the Christmas tree and when I turned around, it burnt to ashes. I ran out a whole I found in the wall and I was in front of a big red truck! I lead them inside and came back to my family, everyone went inside and it was a mess, I looked at my owners and they started to cry, Christmas was ruined and it was all because of me. All of a sudden there was a knock at the door, it was the Neighbours! they brought food, candles plates even the tree and Christmas was saved! I hope this doesn't happen again next year.

Dear Diary,
Tonight we had to help Santa deliver presents but, Nobody left us carrots! And worst of all, Santa wouldn't share his food with us! He was eating in front f us and it was getting annoying, we were getting tired and hungry, all we wanted was a treat! When we got to Sydney we stopped and like always Santa went inside but he took a little longer than usual when he FINALLY came out he had a little treat with him, Mc Donalds! but we don't eat Mc Donalds but it was Carrots. Best Christmas ever!

Slip, slop slap and wrap!

Hey, guys, it's me and today I'm going to share some summer safety tips to keep cool this summer!

1. When you're going o a beach like Waihi, make sure you stay either insight of an adult or swim between the flags!
2. It's getting pretty hot outside! don't forget to wear a hat and have sunblock on or stay in the shade!
3. If you're going to a river or a place like Dicky's flat. Make sure you bring a friend so that if you get into trouble, you have someone to help you!
4. Since it's super hot, stay hydrated and drink lots of water!
5. Have as much fun as you possibly can!

My favourite summer memory was when I went to Waihi for the first time, it was so much fun!

My favourite place to swim is at any beach that has lots of people, so I don't feel lonely!

Let's talk food!

Hey, guys, it's me and today I'm going to show you guys my favourite breakfast, lunch and dinner, with pictures and a recipe! Let's get right into it!

So my favourite breakfast is pancakes! I don't have them all the time but when I do, I enjoy them. I like them because they are super yum and fluffy and light when made right!

To make these Chelsea pancakes you will need:
1 cup self-raising flour
2 Tbsp Chelsea White Sugar
½ tsp finely grated lemon zest (optional)
1 cup milk (or Soy/Rice milk)
1 egg, lightly beaten
30g butter, melted (or margarine)

To serve:
2 bananas, sliced
1 punnet blueberries (or frozen berries defrosted)
Chelsea Maple Flavoured Syrup or Chelsea Honey Maple Flavoured Syrup

To make these pancakes:

Sift the flour and Chelsea White Sugar into a bowl. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients. Add the lemon zest, milk, egg and melted butter/margarine and whisk to combine. Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium-low heat and grease lightly with butter or oil.
For each pancake, place 2 tablespoons of batter into the pan. Cook for 2 minutes or until bubbles form on the surface. Turn and cook for a further 1 to 2 minutes or until the pancakes are cooked through.
 
Garnish with berries, bananas and Chelsea Maple Flavoured Syrup or Chelsea Honey Maple Flavoured Syrup.


Now it's lunchtime! What's on the menu? toasted sandwiches! that's sounds great! I like toasted sandwiches because they are just like toast but with different ingredients!


To make this you will need:
Bread
Cheese
Toaster/sandwich maker
Ham
Any other ingredients

To make this you need to:
Butter the bread and if you have a sandwich maker then put the butter side to the bottom and put on the ingredients. If you have a Toaster do this like normal toast accept instead of peanut butter put on your ingredients then your done!

It's almost dinner time, time to get the mince ready! I enjoy just mince not with anything else because mince by itself with the sauce is yum to me


To make this you will need:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1kg lean beef mince

To make this:
turn on the stove to a high temp and put in the mince. The mince should turn a little darker, meaning that it's cooked and add in the sauce. once the sauce is well mixed into the mince, pour it into a bowl and enjoy!

Christmas shopping!

Hey, everyone, it's me and today I am going to be showing you guys things I might buy for my friends and family with a budget of 83 dollars! (All this shopping was done on Kmart or the Warehouse)
For my mum, I'm going to get her a Manicure buffer set which costs $8.00

For my grandfather, I'll get him a packet of KitKats because he loves KitKats! This costs $4.00


For my grandmother, I'll hey her a cushion for her wheelchair so it's more comfortable. This costs $8.00


For my cousin Bronson I'm buying him little animal rattles because he's only like, 4 months I think? This costs $3.00

I got the same thing for my other cousin Linchon so they cost the same
For my cousin Mason, I'm getting him a drum set for toddlers. This costs $5.00


For my cat, Fluffy I'm buying her a new bowl. This costs $6.00

So this is all the stuff I spent and it adds up to... $37 exactly! so I still have a bit left but I'm only going to get this stuff, What would you get your family? Write it in the comments! See you in the next post. Bye!

Thoughts on Prize-giving

Hey everyone, I know it's been a while since I posted but today I am doing a collab with my friend Meadow! So anyways let's get into the blog!
I agree Prize-giving is boring but kids need to have something to work towards, like if we want to work towards getting the best swimmer. I think prize-giving is boring because you're just sitting there,, doing nothing, for a long time. These are just my opinions guys! Write what you think in the comments! Cabbage patch history

Hi everyone, it's me and today I'm going to be writing about the history of cabbage patch kids!
The first ever cabbage patch doll was made in 1976 by the original creator, Xavier Roberts, he was a 21-year-old art student with a love of sculpting, he created the first doll with a sewing technique called "needle moulding" which is an old German technique used in the 1800's, this was the very first cabbage patch doll ever created

In 1978, one of Xavier's dolls won first prize at an art show in Osceola, the doll's name was Dexter, Xavier also started hand delivering his dolls, the "adoption fee" was 40$, way less for one these days! Even Xavier's parents adopted a doll, this is Dexter

In 1981, Xavier was on the cover of Atlanta Weekly with his dolls and a caption that read "Making babies made him famous!" this is the cover he was on
By the end of 1983, almost 3 million dolls were sold! But the demand hadn't been reached yet, Although they became the most successful new doll introduction in history which got them featured on the Newsweek, this is the cover

In 1985, Cabbage patch kids joined the young astronaut's program and a doll named Christopher Xavier was the first cabbage patch doll to explore outer space as a passenger on the U.S. Space Shuttle, this is the photo

In 1992 the cabbage patch kids were the mascots for the U.S. team at the 1992 Olympics and some cabbage patch kids stayed in a child's hospital apart of the Friends For Life project. Here are the cabbage patch kids at the Olympics

In 2000, Cabbage patch kids got their very own stamp which went on sale in January of 2000, Here's the stamp

In 2005 Cabbage patch kids were selected to go into the 2005 Toy of the year awards, they were finalists in the girl toy of the year but unfortunately, they lost, here's a picture

On May 3rd 2007, Babyland General Hospital toystore was opened, it was known as the "birthplace" of all cabbage patch kids. The Hospital is 70,000 square feet, here is the building
 
In 2018 the cabbage patch kids and the little people are celebrating 40 years of bissnuess.

Labor weekend

Hi everyone! it's me and today I'm gonna predict my Labor weekend and see how accurate I am!

I predict my labour weekend will be decent because it's my grandad's birthday on the 24th so we need to buy a present for him but also kinda boring because mum has to work and I am staying home this weekend so I think it's going to be in the middle. I hope the weather is nice too but not really hot like today Like there are a few clouds but it's still a nice day. I might ask if I'm allowed to go to my Bff Cerys's house but I'm not 100% sure yet.
