Ok for those who don't know where Ngatea is, it's a small town in the Waikato area and is also apart of the small community called The Haruiki plains! I live fairly close to Ngatea but I go to school there! When I heard they were ditching the bags I was thrilled! Plastic bags are a threat to our ocean life and our land creatures! I think that it's a great idea because I love all animals and I hate hearing how much a single plastic bag can hurt an animal. To me, it's a great idea but that's just my opinion but I feel this will influence other towns to become plastic bag free! this will make a difference to our country and our world.
